Projects like the Jane’s Defence advertising pack came around each year and created a huge amount of work for our Corporate Team. There were 20 separate brochures / rate-cards in one folder alone; this really was the heyday for print design.
This was an account of which I was personally very proud, having been an avid plane spotter and collector of the world-renowned Jane’s Guides as a child. A passion for the subject is so important in producing quality design work.

New look for old technology
Our work on Letraset’s Letratech pen was an exercise in product range extension towards the end of the product’s life cycle, producing a ‘student’ or economy variation, in this case with promotional literature and countertop display.
We had previously designed the identity and all promotional material for Letratech as a competitor to the better known Rotring technical pen. Soon, both were to be rendered obsolete by the advent of CAD systems and the Apple MAC.
