Part 26 – 2000s Learning New Tricks

The inevitable

Clearly the demand for print design is falling, but at the start of the new millennium there were still some areas where a printed catalogue was the only thing that would do, and we still provided the kind of service that clients wanted.

Just as in previous times designers had proved themselves very adaptable, now web sites, videos and animation were proving to be fertile areas to work in.

We have always been able to offer photography as part of the design package, and now that digital photography was so accessible, we could easily add it to the workflow.

Nielsen Bainbridge, a client of ours for over 20 years, made full use of our skills in all these areas.

A promotional package including a product-features video, a new website and a catalogue for Nielsen-Bainbridge enabled us to learn new skills and broaden our range of capabilities.
Design, technical photography and print production came together in a whole range of material that we produced for this client, who gave us free range to develop the brand.
