When working on more complex images in my Tableaux of Dreams series I have to let each individual icon be seen in isolation. For this project I’m combining the two icons into one image and that gives me a great deal of freedom to play with colour, tone and emphasis. The base print is an etching and the colour is applied as a monoprint, so each artwork is an individual creation.
