Translating my sketches to any kind of print medium often means that my style becomes less free. The joy for me in this series, which I printed over a period of several months, was that I was able to be both free with my line drawing and then experiment with many different colour combinations. This process of mono printing allows me to make these changes without making irreversible changes to the original.
