I keep the style of my painted abstracts precise; I do not want the experience of viewing them to be marred by distractions, I want the viewer to consider the colours and shapes in their purest form. These silkscreen prints are a radical departure, as the mono printing process allows me to make each one individual. I use a very crude and unstable masking technique which creates wide variation and happy accidents in the juxtaposition of the shapes.
